2008 WLWCA Conservation Awards

New this year:  the county that submits the state winner for the Farmer of the Year award will have their 2009 WLWCA dues waived!

Conservation Farmer of the Year

This award promotes total farm conservation accomplishments by recognizing farmers performing outstanding conservation work.  The state winner co-hosts Conservation Observance Day the following June with WLWCA.

 

Outstanding Supervisor

This award recognizes a Land Conservation Committee supervisor who has provided strong and effective leadership in promoting resource conservation through their own actions and work in their community.

Deadlines 

bulletConservation Farmer of the Year nominations should be submitted to area level by
August 29, 2008, with area winners submitted to WLWCA by October 17, 2008.
 
bulletAll Outstanding Supervisor nominations should be submitted to WLWCA by
October 17, 2008.
 
Awards Presentation
Awards are presented during the annual WLWCA Conference which will be held December 10-12, 2008 in Appleton.
