2010 State Summer Conservation Camp (June 22-25, Trails End Camp, Bruce, WI)
Held annually, Conservation Camp provides students who have completed grades 8, 9 and 10 with the opportunity to better understand and appreciate nature. While gaining teamwork skills and making new friends from around the state, students receive the best kind of teaching, which is both informative and experiential. They learn about a wide range of topics, such as wildlife, soil, erosion, pollution, ecosystems, water quality, aquatic habitats, orienteering and canoeing. Registration cost is $100 per student. Scholarships for students to attend are available from your County Land and Water Conservation Department and other local conservation organizations.

For more information, contact the Rusk County Land Conservation Department at mbarber@ruskcountywi.us or (715) 532-2162.
